Team Cul de Sac

Here is the dust jacket to the Team Cul de Sac book. For those who don’t know, it’s a book created by Sparking Design to help raise money for Parkinson’s disease, and to honor the brilliance of Richard Thompson, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s recently. Many big, BIG names in cartooning have contributed to this book, and I am honored to have been included along side all this talent. (My contribution can be seen here). The book also includes the only Bill Waterson art to be publicly displayed in like 20 years. Once again, everyone in the business pulls together to help out a fellow cartoonist and a worthwhile cause. It will be neat to see how cartoonists handle their turn at the characters.

This situation has been so sad. While I like that guest cartoonists have been filling in while he’s getting treatment, it makes me miss the master. His strip is second only to Pooch Cafe in my mind.

I agree nocats. It still must make Richard feel good to know his fellow peers are willing to pull time from their own busy profession to lend a hand.
