Birthday Art

A month back at the TCAF I was fortunate enough to meet a couple of Pooch fans, Rob and his daughter Tori (who was sporting an awesome Ramona Flowers get-up). Soon after Rob contacted me to let me know about his daughter’s upcoming sweet 16, and wondered if he might hire me to do a personalized piece of birthday art for Tori. Below is the art of Tori in the Cafe with the gang (that’s the family dog Chelsea in the back). It was a blast to do, and apparently it was a “big hit”. Thanks to Tori for being such a big fan, and to Rob for being such a great dad! (PS: She’s also a big fan of turtles, in case you’re wondering about the cake).

For a PC fan that has got to be one of the most awesome thrills, to get a gift like that!
It’s really great, Paul and I’m betting Tori already has it framed.
To have something personalized like that is such a treat.

Wow, I missed a lot of stuff! I love that Fish is included. The hat on a fish is funny.
And the poster says “Master of the Month” for those who had a hard time seeing it like I did. I always forget if you click on the actual picture it makes it bigger.

Thanks again Paul for doing this special piece for us. You can see why we all follow Poncho and the Gang, when Paul can take a drawing and make it come to life. Pooch Cafe takes us regular readers away from the stress of the real world, it’s an honor to have Paul create a snapshot in time for Tori to remember forever. Tori’s Dad.
