Blurring the line between Cartoonist and Mailman…

By Paul | June 14, 2013

…we have Bob Krohmer, known around these parts as — you guessed it — “mailman”, who sent me a collection of his most recent comic offerings, my favorite of which is here:

I met Bob a few years ago when he came to hear me pontificate about myself at the Kenosha Cartooning Festival near Chicago, and he’s a wonderful chap.  Bob, I’m not sure if you want to tell people how they might order some of your comics, but feel free to plug yourself in the comments section of this post if you so desire.

Paul, I am truly humbled to be mentioned on your website. Cartooning has been a hobby of mine going back more years than I care to remember. I love sharing the laughter with people.
There is one way people can view my cartoons and one way they can have my little books sent to them. The way to view them is to click on my ‘mailman’ name above this paragraph. The link will take you to my archive page at cartoonstock.com, based out of London, England. They sell cartoons worldwide but you can look at them for free. There are numerous catagories to click on under archived cartoons but I’m not listed under all of them. I would suggest trying ‘animals’ first, or type the word holiday on the subject line.
If people would like a copy of the booklet I sent Paul, they can just send me their name and address in an e-mail to: poroute058@yahoo.com . Put cartoon in the subject line. I will be glad to send a copy at no charge and put them on the list for the Holiday issue coming out later this year.
As for Kenosha, I was tongue-tied when I met Paul and he was more than generous with his time and talents. I also got to meet Lulu and we had a few laughs together at the intermission. Overall, one of the best days I’ve spent anywhere.

    Bob
